2015 Skoda Superb Combi goes official with huge 660 liter trunk
Skoda has released the first images and details with their 2015 Superb Combi set to make a public debut in September at Frankfurt Motor Show.
Looking exactly as you would expect, the even more spacious Superb comes with a 660-liter trunk which makes it 27 liters bigger compared to its predecessor. Once you fold down the rear seats, the capacity increases to an enormous 1,950 liters, with both figures being unbeatable in this class.
Needless to say, it gets the same roomy interior cabin as the hatchback version thanks to a massive 2841mm wheelbase and 1584mm front / 1572mm rear tracks. Engines have been carried over so expect an array of four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline and diesel Euro 6-compliant units that have an output ranging from 120 PS (88 kW) to 280 PS (206 kW). These engines come as standard with stop/start and brake energy recovery systems to cut fuel consumption by up to 30%.
Following its public reveal at IAA in September, the Skoda Superb Combi will go on sale in Europe later that month.
